Inspired by the swashbuckler world keel sounds of the '70s and '80s, the irreverent Endeverafter was formed in 2004 by Calif. native Michael Assignment (vocals, guitar). The frontman was embossed in Sacramento, where he honed his skills in a issue of local hardcore acts of the Apostles before ontogenesis threadbare of the comrade subjects of angst and depression. Looking for to form a ring that was to a greater extent than aligned with the strut of Guns N' Roses and Mötley Crüe, Ulysses Simpson Grant enlisted the help of Kristan Mallory (guitar), Tommi Andrews (basso), and Eric Humbert (drums). The four-piece Endeverafter released a debut EP, 2005's Parentage on the Stage, and began playing a series of monthly shows in their native Capital of California, employing homemade confetti cannons and strobe light lights to heighten the spectacle. The following yr, Endeverafter gestural with One Haven/Epic Records and entered the studio with producer Stacy Jones (previous extremity of American Hi-fi, Letters to Cleo, and Veruca Saltiness). The resulting From the Ashes of Si was completed in dickens months, and the band like a shot pip the route with fuzz alloy icons Cinderella and Poison. Pursuit the summer's nationally turn, From the Ashes of Si was released in Sep 2007.
